Driving on Mull

Allow a bit more time for your journeys because most roads are single-track with passing-places. Remember to keep to the left when passing other vehicles. If you're travelling slowly to enjoy the scenery, it's a courtesy to pull in to allow faster traffic to pass you.

Petrol and Diesel

Fill up on the mainland because prices for petrol and diesel are higher on Mull. There are several petrol stations:

• Craignure (two)
• Salen
• Tobermory
• Between Fionnphort and Bunessan (two)

Opening times may vary with season, but do not expect 24-hour opening.
